Barbara grew up North of Rolling Hills, Wyoming in what she likes to call “the middle of nowhere.” She was active on the speech and debate team and attended nationals. She was active in the community and completed both her Girl Scout Gold Award and Youth Congressional Award Gold Medal.

Barbara attended the University of Akron School of Business Administration then moved back to Wyoming to help with the family businesses and finished her degree through Western Governors University where she also became certified in Project Management through CompTIA. Barbara spent more than 5 years working as a full charge bookkeeper for local businesses before she started working for Grooms & Harkins, P.C. in March of 2016. She is also a Certified QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor. Barbara earned her CPA license in 2018.

In her free time, Barbara enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and two dogs. They try to spend as much time as possible together in the outdoors whether at the family ranch, camping, fishing, or hunting throughout all four seasons.
